<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style=""><font size="4" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Hello everyone,</font><br><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><b style=""><font size="4">Who were Faustus Sozzini, Michael Servetus, and John
Sigismund? Why is Transylvania important to Unitarians? (No, it has nothing to
do with Dracula.) Who were Origen and John Murray and what do they have to do
with Universalism? Just what are “unitarianism” and “universalism” and what is “Unitarian
Universalism?” <br>
Unitarian Universalism has a long history and a theological foundation stretching as far back as the pre-Christian
era. As UU’s it’s important to have at least a basic knowledge and
understanding of just what that history and theology is.</font></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><b><font size="4">On Thursday, April 15<sup>th</sup>, I will begin leading a
brief course in Unitarian Universalist History. The course will take place over
8 to 10 sessions and will take place every other Thursday evening, beginning at
7:30 p.m. The sessions will be informal and will allow for a discussion and
question period. </font></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><b><font size="4">In order to make the question and answer sessions flow
smoothly, we will utilize the “Raise Hand” button found on the bottom of the
Zoom screen in the “Reactions” tab. Just click on the “Reactions” tab, click “Raise
Hand” and you will be recognized in order. </font></b></p>

to live in Mystery is central to the liberal religious tradition. Like the
process of evolution itself, the path that we follow, our practice if you will,
is not easy or simple. It isn’t without its dead ends or its disappointments. It
doesn’t
guarantee that all of our conclusions will be final or that we will ever find
an answer to all of our questions. But also like the process of evolution, it
is filled with great expressions of beauty and awe that are sometimes born of
great struggle and at other times come as unexpected Grace. <br>
