I thought I'd share this with you.
I doubt this article (originally dated 2019 and updated in 2020) would sway the minds of most of those who are whining about the forgiveness of student debt, but it is a very enlightening article about the Jewish practice of the shmitah (the seventh, or sabbatical, year) and the forgiveness of debts and how Jesus intentionally used it in what is commonly called the Lord's Prayer. </font></b></div><div dir="auto" style="font-family:"Segoe UI Historic","Segoe UI",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(5,5,5);white-space:pre-wrap"><b style=""><font size="4">I suspect most right-wing evangelicals will ignore it much as they now do with everything else <span style="font-family:inherit"><a tabindex="-1" style="color:rgb(56,88,152);font-family:inherit"></a></span>Jesus taught.
