[UUCP] UUCP Ministry on Homelessness/Hunger Hosting on Monday, December 21, 2015

We especially INVITE those who have not had the opportunity to JOIN  UUCPs
HOMELESS/HUNGER Ministry ON Monday afternoon/evening December 21 to HOST,
 SERVE and WATCH OVERNIGHT our 14 clients at Englewood's First Presbyterian
Church who are in need of a warm, welcoming and comforting environment
during this cold weather holiday season.
We are asking whether you can/will volunteer to help us in shopping,
preparing, serving a warm meal, reading to/playing with children and
perhaps being one of two who spend the night where we sleep as "guardians"
providing safety for/to our guests.
Annually, Our Ministry serves once in Hackensack(feeding 130  October) and
twice in Englewood(July and December). We are seeking to increase our
 congregation's active participation as homelessness and hunger  increase
as a critical societal problem.   We are asking whether you can either
volunteer your  time, donate funds or both to support our continuing work
and efforts.
