I just received this from our Gun Violence Prevention Task Force.  Two
important bills are coming up in the Assembly tomorrow.  Could you please
call or email right away and send this out to our UU community far and
wide.   Time is of the essence.

Hello Everyone,
I received an email asking for support of 2 bills that will be heard in
the NJ Assembly tomorrow.  If you can find time, please send a brief
letter of support for the following:

1. Support SCR 101 and ACR 175 (this opposes Gov. Christie's attempt to
expand conceal and carry of handguns)
Send an email to Chair of the Assembly L &PS Committee, Daniel Benson ( Ph.609
631-0198) and Vice Chair
Joe Danielsen,( ph. 732-247-3999.)  As non-constituents, email is better
but phone calls are also helpful.

2. Support A1426/S816 (Smart Gun)
In the same email request their support of the 2nd bill

I am writing to you as a member of the ____________________(congregation .
I appreciate your posting  ACR 175 and SCR 101 and A1426/S816 to be heard
in the Assembly on June 2nd.
Our membership supports these bills and resolutions.  We look to your
