Hi everyone,
I look forward to see you tonight at the first of our Zoom bi-weekly
discussions at 7:00 p.m. I anticipate that discussions will last between 45
minutes to one hour long.
This week, we'll be discussing an article that was on a list that Judy
Manton suggested.

This article was the first article written for the 1619 Project published
by the New York Times in August of 2019. It was written by Nikole
Hannah-Jones.
August 1619 is the date that the first ship carrying slaves from Africa
arrived in the United States.
