I am writing you to be sure you’ve seen the invite to the #WeCantBreathe UUA Virtual Prayer Vigil tonight. I know your hearts are breaking too—with anger and grief. Some of you are already taking action locally and others have been asking what you can do. Please know there are many ways to take action and your health is also critical. I know there will be more suggestions at tonight’s vigil, including the Movement for Black Lives week of action which includes a wide variety of actions. I’ve put some other links at the end in response to questions I’ve received. There will be more messages from your UUA and UUA President to share with your congregations later this week.

   - Ways to contribute money to the organizations on the ground in Minneapolis.
   - Asks from organizers across the country including places to donate for bail and for organizations, phone calls to make and petitions to sign: 
   - Movement For Black Lives week of actions -- including actions that are less physically risky.
