Hi everyone,
I hope you're all doing well, staying healthy, and checking in on each
other!
Here is the link to this week's audio sermon:
https://uucpalisades.org/recordings-of-past-services/#.XsLzc2hKiUk
Just click on it and it will take you to the Recorded Sermons page of the
UUCP website. Then click on the little black arrow below the sermon title.
You also have the ability now to fast forward or rewind the audio.
There are two songs included in the audio:
The first is "Gospel Ghetto" by the late rap / hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur
with another hip hop artist, Akon. It's a song about the difficulties of
growing up as a young black man in America. Please be warned that this is a
rap song and some of the lyrics are explicit and may be offensive but that
they reflect the anger and frustration that far too many of our black
sisters and brothers have to live with every day.
The song following the sermon is by Ziggy Marley, the son of the late
Reggae great, Bob Marley and is titled "Changes."
Let me know your thoughts!
Stay well!
Peace and Light,
Rev. Paul
