Hi everyone,
As I promised, here’s an update on our COVID tests.
Both Lisa and I are positive after each having two tests.
I am asymptomatic. No fever, nausea, chills, cough, etc. I feel fine except
for being tired which is from the stroke I had in December. Meanwhile, my
operation is postponed for a few weeks.
Lisa has minor symptoms that could easily be from her asthma acting up as
it does often this time of year. She’s taking her medication from her
asthma doctor and we’re monitoring things carefully.
Tomorrow, on the advice of her doctor and mine, we’re going to call Valley
Hospital about the recently approved monoclonal antibody treatment to see
if we qualify and can receive it.
We’re now going into a 14 day quarantine. Our son Jake is staying in his
room when not at work and we’re diligently cleaning and sanitizing the
bathroom, kitchen, doorknobs, everything as we use them.
I’ll keep you all posted during this weird, trying time.
Thanks for all your support!
Love,
Paul and Lisa

*The freedom to doubt, to question, to be content to live in Mystery is
central to the liberal religious tradition. Like the process of evolution
itself, the path that we follow, our practice if you will, is not easy or
simple. It isn’t without its dead ends or its disappointments. It doesn’t
guarantee that all of our conclusions will be final or that we will ever
find an answer to all of our questions. But also like the process of
evolution, it is filled with great expressions of beauty and awe that are
sometimes born of great struggle and at other times come as unexpected
Grace. *
