[UUCP] Calling all Cooks!

You are cordially invited to submit a recipe for the First Edition of the
UUCP Recipe Collection.  Send in your best family recipe, the one you make
when company comes over for Sunday dinner, the tastiest pork chops, the
finest rice and beans, the finger-licking chicken wings with grandma's
famous barbeque sauce, the best grilled whole fish, the most decadent
dessert.  All entries are welcome.

A short description would also be wonderful, although not necessary.  It
could look something like this:  "Whenever her grandchildren came over for a
visit, my mother-in-law would make these cookies.  No matter how many she
made, there were never enough - they disappeared like ice cubes on a hot
summer day." 

I will assemble the recipes into one .pdf file, which you can easily print
out at home, if you want a paper copy.  

This is a fund raiser.  Here's how it works:

Once the Recipe Collection is ready, I will let everyone know by email.
There is no set price for the booklet; you can pay whatever you want (i.e.,
$3, $5, $20, etc.), knowing that the full amount will go directly to UUCP.  

Please make out a check to "UUCP" in the amount which you want to pay for
the booklet, and send it to Donna Buono at 162 Cambridge Avenue Englewood,
NJ 07631, the same as you would send any other payment to her.  Then email
me to let me know you have sent Donna your payment, and I will email the
.pdf file to you.

Very exciting!  I can almost smell the meatballs bubbling away on the stove,
and the cookies baking in the oven.
