[UUCP] REMINDER: "NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S JESUS!" SESSION 2 FRIDAY APRIL 29th 7:30 p.m

Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that the SECOND session of our new bi-weekly discussion,
"Not Your Grandma's Jesus!" will take place TOMORROW NIGHT, FRIDAY, April
29th, at 7:30 p.m.

This week, we'll begin by looking at the all-important Gnostic creation
myth as a jumping off point for reading and understanding the various
Gnostic texts and the Gnostic understanding of Jesus. We'll also begin, if
there's time, a reading of "The Secret Book of John" (also called the
Apocryphon of John) a quintessential classic Gnostic text and important to
any study of Gnosticism.
