Hi everyone,
I can't recommend this show on PBS highly enough!
It's a three-part series about a muslim couple traveling through America on
Route 66 and exploring the history and influence of Muslims and Islam on
the history and culture of America since it's inception.
Mona Haydar is an American Muslim raised in Flint, Michigan whose parents
emigrated from Syria. Her husband Sebastian is an American who converted to
Islam. Their travels across America are both entertaining and informative
of the Muslim experience in America.
I think you'll find it to be a truly educational series!
