[UUCP] REMINDER: "NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S JESUS!" NEXT SESSION THURSDAY MAY 11th 7:30 p.m

Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that the next session of our new bi-weekly discussion, "Not
Your Grandma's Jesus!" will take place tomorrow night, Thursday, May 12th,
at 7:30 p.m.

This week, we'll begin by considering the Valentinian gnostics, followers
of Valentinus of Alexandria (no, not the one associated with Valentine's
Day), one of the most important and influential early teachers in
Gnosticism and the early Christian church. We'll also take a look at some
of his writings that survive including The Gospel of Truth.
