Dear Friends,

Jose Saldana, above, spent 38 years in prison while earning his college degree, mentoring others, and advocating for social justice. Still, he was denied parole 4 times - adding 8 years to his sentence.

Transforming Lives is partnering with One Spirit in Action for a film screening and live discussion of The Interview. This 20-minute documentary offers shocking insights into the injustices of the New York Parole System. Watching the individuals in this film persist until they finally win their right to a second chance will infuriate, disturb, and finally inspire you. Following The Interview there will be a live discussion with the remarkable men and women from the film.
