[UUCP] CCA Event TOMORROW!

Hello UUCP Members, Friends and Supporters. UUCP is proud to co-sponsor
this virtual event hosted by the Community Choice Aggregation (CCA).


Please RSVP for an exciting virtual forum about how we can bring clean
energy to Bergen County through a program called Community Choice
Aggregation <http://bit.ly/CleanEnergyforBergen>. This Federally authorized
program allows residents to take control of the electricity purchased by
their local utility, while leaving ownership of the grid in the hands of
the utility company. CCA programs can help deliver renewable energy at
discounted rates to consumers and provide benefits to the environment and
our planet.

What: A virtual forum about how we can bring Clean Energy to Bergen County

Join us on March 25th to:

   -

   See a presentation about Community Choice Aggregation - What is CCA? How
   does it benefit your community and the environment? How can residents bring
   CCA to their town?
   -

   Hear Dr. Arati Kreibich, a former Glen Rock Council member whose Town
   voted to adopt CCA and is now part of an alliance of 7 towns.
   -

   Hear John Hsu tell about how residents brought CCA to Edison, NJ.
   -

   Participate in a Q & A
   -

   Residents of Teaneck are encouraged to stay on at the end to learn about
   how they can get involved to support the petition initiative to bring CCA
   to Teaneck.
   -

   Residents of other municipalities are encouraged to stay on at the end
   to learn about how they can bring *CCA* to their town.
