[UUCP] THANK YOU!!

Hello everyone,
Well, it’s been two weeks and I’m still not used to not having to write a
sermon or choose music for our Sunday services! I suppose, like many people
who retire, that will happen over time, but truthfully, I hope it doesn’t.
Writing and speaking, especially about spirituality and our shared UU
liberal tradition is what I think I enjoy most and what I think (or hope) I
do best. So, I’m going to continue writing and look forward at times to
sharing some of it with all of you.

I also wanted to say thank you for the very generous gift you gave me on my
last day. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and I can assure you it has
been put to very good use.
But more than that, the gift of friendship, trust, and love, and the honor
of being your minister for ten years are the gifts that I most appreciate
and which are the most enduring. Lisa and I are, and will always be
grateful, to be a part of the UUCP family.

Looking forward to seeing you in the not too distant future!
