[UUCP] Sunday Service (Nov 23rd) with Rev Pippa Jones

Hello dear Community,
I hope you may be able to join us tomorrow for a special service to mark the beginning of the "16 Days of Activism" - a global movement to end ALL forms of violence against women.  We will not only come together in solidarity but also in celebration of women everywhere. The title of the service is inspired by Dr Maya Angelou's powerful poem: "Phenomenal Woman, That's Me".
Joining me this Sunday will be two Interfaith friends and colleagues who are both doing incredible work within Cape Town to end the violence that is gripping our communities: Marie-Therese Nga, a Nichiren Buddhist from Cameroon; and, Aidon Allies, a graduate of the Youth Programme. Come hear their stories and be inspired. WEAR PURPLE IN SOLIDARITY (if you can) and BRING A CANDLE to light in unity.
